What this site is for
This site is written for the person who has already decided that an abdominal operation or a breast operation is worth considering, and who now has to decide what to combine, in what order, and how the weeks afterwards will be covered. It assumes the parent guide has been read: whether to have an abdominoplasty, what it repairs and what it cannot are settled there and are not repeated here. What is here is the arithmetic of a combined plan — anaesthetic duration, two healing wounds, the lifting limit, the household calendar, and the point at which the plan should be reduced or declined.
How it is written and reviewed
Each guide is drafted by the patient-education team from published specialty guidance and then medically reviewed by Tongchun Mao, MD, Deputy Director and Head of Aesthetic Surgery, who leads the breast and body contouring service at Chongqing West District Hospital. Every page carries the reviewer’s name and a review date, and content is scheduled for review at least once a year.
What it deliberately leaves out
There are no prices and no packages, because a figure quoted before an assessment is a number that will change. There are no brand names of drugs or devices, and no dosages. There are no before-and-after images and no testimonials, because a selected image and an individual experience are both poor evidence about your body and your household.
What it cannot do
It cannot tell you what is right for your body or your family. Whether two problems are genuinely two, how long an anaesthetic your own health allows, how much can be finished in one sitting, and what your recovery will actually be like at home are all questions that need an examination and a conversation. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a promise about the result.
